Honesty   and   a   deep   love   for   music   are   the   foundations that   bring   Vicente   and   Arturo   together   under   the   fascinating piano   duo   ensemble.   They   are   determined   by   passion   for   their work,   mutual   admiration   and   the   persistence   to   unravel   the very   essence   of   each   piece   and   the   infinite   sound   possibilities of    the    piano    to    offer    the    audience    interpretations    full    of integrity and freshness. As   soloists,   both   Arturo   and   Vicente   have   recently   completed their   Master's   studies   at   the   Centro   Katarina   Gurska   (Madrid) and      the      Koninklijk      Conservatorium      Brussel      (Brussels) respectively.    In    addition,    both    present    an    extensive    artistic career that includes numerous international awards. They   play   together   since   2010   and   over   the   last   few   years,   the constant   dedication   and   success   achieved   in   the   concerts   have led   Iber-pianoduo   to   focus   on   a   more   international   projection, bringing its vigour and energy to an increasingly large audience. During   the   2017-18   season   Iber-pianoduo   has   performed   in Spain,   Portugal,   France   and   Belgium,   culminating   in   the   Victor Villegas   Auditorium   with   the   proposal   "Chopin   and   Liszt:   The Meeting   Point"   that   finished   with   a   standing   ovation   of   the   large audience.
Iber   Pianoduo   was   awarded   in   November   2017   with   the   2nd   Prize   in   the   91st   edition   of   the   Leopold   Bellan   International Competition   in   Paris.   This   prestigious   competition   has   among   its   winners   such   important   musicians   as   Olivier   Messiaen, Augustín Dumay and the Labéque sisters. Recently   (October   2018)   they   has   been   awarded   with   the   Prize   for   the   Best   Performance   of   the   Work   by   Antón   García   Abril in   the   7th   edition   of   the   International   Chamber   Music   Competition   "Antón   García   Abril"   in   Baza,   Granada;   which   has   meant a great impulse for these young pianists who, full of illusion, continue working to offer the maximum in their next projects.
